OUR COMMUNITIES

MADE ACROSS
COMMUNITIES

RE:WOVEN is shaped by different communities across Chanthaburi, many led by women who have worked alongside one another for decades, sharing skills, and passing down what they know.

From weaving to sewing, each community contributes a different part of the process, bringing their work together in the final design.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CRAFT

THE SUBTARI
WEAVING GROUP

Near the Thai-Cambodian border, Subtari is home to a group of 10 older women who have been weaving Pha Khao Ma together for decades. Their weaving traditions were passed down through families who migrated from Northeastern Thailand and made Chanthaburi their home.

For years, they often wove on hope alone—buying the yarn and putting in hours of work without knowing whether their pieces would sell.

RE:WOVEN begins before the weaving starts. We choose colours and plan quantities together, with orders confirmed ahead of production. This gives the artisans a clearer sense of what to make and how much is needed, while helping their craft continue into the next generation.

KEEPING TRADITIONS ALIVE

KHLONG BON
WEAVING COMMUNITY

Khlong Bon is home to older women who continue to weave while opportunities for agricultural and casual work have become less predictable.

For some, weaving has become an important supplementary source of income that can be earned from home using skills they already have.

RE:WOVEN works with the weavers on colour, product applications, and recurring orders — giving familiar textiles new uses and new markets.

“I never thought the fabric we wove could become something like this.”
HANDS BEHIND EVERY DETAIL

BANG SA KAO
SEWING COMMUNITY

Bang Sa Kao brings the pieces together. Experienced sewing artisans construct the bags, joining recycled mats and handwoven textiles into durable finished products.

RE:WOVEN aims to move sewing beyond occasional outsourced work toward recurring production — recognising experience, precision, and craftsmanship as a core part of the brand's supply chain.
Every RE:WOVEN piece is brought together through experienced hands.
